My name is Shira and I am a Boston-based birth doula. I am a DONA-certified perinatal professional who provides emotional, physical, advocacy and educational support during labor and in the postpartum recovery period. In my role as a doula, I offer non-judgmental support, evidence-based education and hands-on comfort measures. I look forward to getting to know your family and being with you every step of the way.

Sliding Scale

Cost should never be a barrier between someone’s desire to have support at their birth. Please contact me and we can talk through opportunities for me to support you on a sliding scale.

Standard Package - $2,400

  • 2 prenatal visits (in-person or virtual), phone, text and email support throughout your entire pregnancy and beyond

  • Development of a birth plan

  • Ongoing labor and birth support

  • On-call support starting at 36 weeks

  • 1 or 2 postpartum visits

Deluxe Package – $2,700

  • 4 private childbirth education classes

  • 2 prenatal visits (in-person or virtual), phone, text and email support throughout your entire pregnancy and beyond

  • Development of a birth plan

  • Ongoing labor and birth support

  • On-call support starting at 36 weeks

  • 1 or 2 postpartum visits
